I'm so happy you're here! My name is Bree Boyle.

I am a Licensed Esthetician and Professional Freelance Makeup Artist based in Portland, Oregon. I have over 11 years of experience in the beauty industry; Specializing in makeup and hair styling, eyelash & eyebrow services,  and skincare & facials.

As an alumni of Portland State University, with a BS of Arts & Letters - I spent a lot of time studying Art History. I was fascinated with the dark floral Baroque paintings of the 17th and 18th centuries. The word that I kept seeing in my readings that I really related to was "painterly". This word expresses the skill level of an artist, with the ability to breathe life into their work. To me, makeup is my art. It allows me to interact with colors and textures and create something that makes my soul happy! I love that it gives me the ability to really connect with and inspire someone at the same time.

In 2012 I attended the Makeup Designory School in Los Angeles and was awarded a certificate for Multimedia Makeup including Bridal, Airbrush, Editorial, Special Effects, and Hair Design. I have many years of experience working for various cosmetic brands as well as working with photographers and collaborating on commercial athletic, lifestyle, e-comm, editorial, intimate, and bridal shoots. Some of my clients include Pendleton Woolen Mills, Nike, various independent magazines, and working with a few luxury bridal teams. 

 

My mission as a professional is to celebrate people from all walks of life! I love teaching and learning from people of all colors, shapes, and sizes who are looking to experiment or express themselves through makeup, lashes, or skincare. To me, everyone is beautiful and I want to be apart of the journey to capture life's precious moments like weddings, graduations, engagement photos, parties, intimate photoshoots, transitions, or even just one on one makeup lessons. My favorite thing is when I finish a makeup service with someone and they look in the mirror, their face lights up with the biggest smile, shake their hair out and say "You nailed it! Can we do this every day?!"
